  • Love of wealth displaces from the heart the Love of Allah.
  • On the Day of Qiyaamah, the good deeds of the haasid (jealous person) will be transferred to the person who was the victim of his jealousy (hasad).

Giving some naseehat (good counsel) to Hadhrat Maalik Bin Dinaar (rahmatullah alayh), Hadhrat Hasan Basri (rahmatullah alayh) said:

"Never commit three acts.
One: Never sit in the company of rulers even if they invite you with honour and affection.
Two: Never be alone with a woman even if she is the Rabiah of the time.
Three: Never listen to music, for it will ultimately exercise its corruptive effect on you."
